Myway email upgrade, good or bad?

Myway email used to be one of the simplest web mail sites to use. Now the Myway team have changed the email and by doing so have taken any aspect of usability out of the equation. Now instead of simplicity we have bloat.

IE8 Beta 2 released

Microsoft have released their Beta 2 of Internet explorer 8 IE8 will be the replacement for IE& when it comes out of Beta, Many have said that the Beta 1 appeared to be more of an alpha but IE8 is certainly coming together with Beta 2.

Citizendium to be the new Wikipedia

Wikipedia's co-founder Larry Sanger is planning to build a bigger and better online open encyclopedia. Citizendium will have tougher controls over the
content and will require users full names to be given upon registration.

Can the internet stand up to Video streaming on a large scale

Skype handsets

Skype is to introduce a wireless handset that will allow you to use Skype's
service without the need for a running PC. The new handsets will allow users to
make and receive landline and Skype based calls from one simple to use handset.

Today the internet is used by millions of people to do everything from research
to shopping, but it wasn't always like this if we look back to the very early days
we see a very different web.

Are web services the future of the web

The internet is such a fast paced and rapidly changing platform that it is
very difficult to predict exactly what will change over the next decade. e web
has changed a lot on recent times, although the basics and the fundamentals have
remained pretty much the same as they where when the internet was first devised.

Current popular web browsers

Back in the mid to late nineties there was a fierce battle for control of the
web browser market between Netscape and Microsoft. The eventual winner was
Microsoft with Internet Explorer. Now there are many new players in the field
and they are all going after IE. Can IE retain it's dominance in the browser
market or will one of the new upstarts win the day.

IE7 and security certificates

Microsoft Internet explorer handles secure connections in an entirely
different way. The new Beta IE7 is a step in the right direction to making the
internet a lot more secure.

German court orders closure of Wikipedia

A court in Germany has ordered that the local language Wikipedia website be
taken off line. The action was taken after it was discovered that Wikipedia had
give the full name of a deceased hacker.
