Microsoft have rolled out release candidate 1 of Windows Vista to more than a
million beta testers for what may prove to be the final stage of testing before
Vista goes mainstream. Microsoft hope to use this final test period to iron out
any existing bugs that may be present.
Amazon selling Windows Vista.
Amazon has started taking order for Windows Vista. Customers can now
pre-order a copy of the next generation of the Windows operating system. Amazon
claim the software will be available in January 2007.
Microsoft ends support for Windows 98 and ME
It looks as if Windows 98 and Windows ME have both reached the end of their
lifecycle as Microsoft announces it is to stop supporting them as of this month.

time out to try out the latest Multimedia software from Microsoft and find out
if it is really any better than it's predecessors.

Microsoft, the worlds leading software company have amounted that the latest vision
of their PC operating system will not be released until mid way through 2007.
Windows Vista will be the long awaited replacement for the current Windows XP operating
system that was first released in 2000. This will be the longest ever gap
between releases of a Microsoft operating system. The question is, have they
left the door open to competition.
